Emerald Musk pays tribute to the legacy of emeralds in the Herrera family with a lavish trilogy of rose, vanilla and orris wrapped in pure musk. In 1979, Carolina Herrera and Andy Warhol made a deal, exchanging a gold and diamond minaudière in return for a portrait. In this now-famous work of art, Carolina Herrera poses with her iconic red lips and a beautiful pair of emerald earrings once owned by Carolina Uslar, a legendary woman of Caracas and grandmother to Reinaldo Herrera. Years later she wore the same earrings for Annie Leibovitz. A tribute from Carolina A. Herrera to her mother, Emerald Musk tells this fabulous story through scent.
